US Session Prep — Thursday, 12:00–21:00 UTC
The dollar's grip tightened right back through London, and the bond market is doing the talking — headlines flag the biggest jump in US yields in a generation, with the global rout rattling investors. That backdrop is pressing on the stretched pairs: EUR/USD (1.12950) is clear bearish across D1/H4/H1 with H4 RSI 24.7 running deeply oversold, GBP/USD (1.32260) has slid to the floor of today's range with all three timeframes pointing down, and the dollar bid is holding firm.
This session brings the heavy hitters: Unemployment Claims, ISM Manufacturing PMI and Final Manufacturing PMI, plus a full chorus of Fed speakers — Waller (Medium), Barkin, Collins, Schmid, Jefferson, Bowman and Cook. Abroad, ECB President Lagarde and SNB Chairman Schlegel speak, with Canadian Manufacturing PMI and BoC's Rogers on deck.
Watch whether the dollar bid extends or those stretched pairs finally breathe — EUR/USD is pinned below its 1.13321 resistance with the floor far below, and GBP/USD sits evenly balanced between 1.32065 support and 1.32264 resistance. USD/JPY (158.009) is the one to keep an eye on: squeezed tight between two close levels, a breakout is on the table. Oil's +3.19% run over 8h is worth noting too — though the higher-timeframe read stays bearish.
