Good morning, London. The wires are a mixed bag again — oil slipping as ceasefire talk does the rounds, Asian equities mixed, and the stablecoin regulation saga rolling on through France's tax plans and ESMA's non-MiCA deadline. Plenty of noise, not much of it directional.
The calendar is light: an MPC Member Breeden speech on the GBP side, and a US bank holiday. So expect a quieter, headline-driven session rather than a data-driven one.
That leaves the gauge as the thing to watch, and this morning it's genuinely mixed.
