Good afternoon — or good morning, depending on where you're reading this. The wires are juggling oil headlines in both directions, bank earnings set to open a window on how higher yields are treating the economy, and CPI waiting in the wings. Plenty of narrative, and the calendar is doing its part: a Canadian bank holiday, an MPC Member Mann speech, the IMF meetings, and an FOMC Member Hammack appearance — all low-key, so expect headlines rather than data to do the driving.
