Good morning. The chip story hasn't gone away — TSMC's results are the next chapter everyone's waiting on, and the Kospi's 7% slide over AI-boom worries still hangs over the tape, with Singapore's central bank springing a policy pause into the mix.
Today's US window is all about inflation: CPI and Core CPI land in both monthly and yearly flavours, with FOMC's Barkin and Goolsbee on the microphone, the Beige Book later, and API's weekly bulletin to close. Canada's building permits and a UK leading index round out an otherwise light corner of the calendar.
As for the gauge, EUR/USD is BEARISH CLEAR — D1 and H4 both down, H1 mixed — with roughly similar room to the levels above and below. GBP/USD leans BULLISH on an H1 up read, though it sits much closer to the level beneath.
